This picture is fabulous. Ellen and I found ourselves at Lake Matheson in New Zealand a few years ago and the local folks told us it was the most photographed place in N.Z. due to the reflection of majestic Mount Cook in the lake and because of the reflectivity of the water. It did give us some great pictures. This picture, however, has it beat. As you mention, the color and contrasts are exceptional, and the vibrancy of the reflection demands our attention. Lovely.

Thanks for all the great feedback! This photo was 99% straight out of the camera. I added a little Lightroom sharpening and clarity and that was it. I took several different views of this scene and I had a hard time deciding which one to post. Glad you all liked this!
